OSINT & digital footprints
What is publicly discoverable about an organisation or an individual, which sources agree with each other, and where the picture stops being reliable.
OSINT · Threat Intelligence · Breach Analysis
I’m Jaskeerat Singh, a computer science student interested in cybersecurity research, OSINT and threat intelligence. I investigate digital footprints, explore security-related information from open sources, and build tools to make threat monitoring and analysis more practical. I enjoy turning technical findings into clear, structured reports.

I work with open sources, and I care about what can honestly be concluded from them.
I’m a computer science student at Guru Tegh Bahadur Institute of Technology (GGSIPU), reading B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering with a CGPA of 8.755. My focus sits in cybersecurity research — open-source intelligence, threat intelligence and breach analysis.
My interest in this field started with a personal experience of cyber fraud. Understanding how information gets collected, exposed and turned into risk gave me a reason to focus on the defensive side, and it still shapes how I work: careful investigation, evidence-based analysis, ethical research, and findings written up clearly enough for somebody else to act on.
The material I publish comes from public sources, CTF exercises and my own analysis of publicly reported incidents. I would rather publish a small finding I can defend than a large one I cannot.
The subjects I am actively studying and practising. This is a map of where my attention is going — not a claim of professional specialisation in each one.

Following emerging threats and reading how reported incidents actually unfold, rather than how they are described.
Watching relevant spaces for information that may matter to defenders, and working out what is worth escalating.
Working through published incident reporting and separating what was claimed from what was actually confirmed.
Pulling indicators of compromise out of raw material and describing what each one actually represents.
Nmap, Wireshark and Burp Suite — and the fundamentals behind what those tools are showing me.
Practical exercises in environments built to be probed, because that is where the understanding comes from.
Using Python and n8n to take the repetitive parts of research and monitoring off my hands.
Writing up findings clearly, reviewing code, and helping other contributors move forward.
Investigation and research work, and open-source mentorship.

Ten research writeups across two collections — OSINT UK challenge write-ups and Sourcing Games — each with the method, the sources and the result behind every step.
02
Analysis of published data-breach material: the threat actor behind it, the techniques attributed to them, and what the exposed evidence actually shows.
